BPRACTICES goes to Apimondia

The BPRACTICES project will be presented at the Apimondia International Apicultural Congress that will be held in Istanbul (Turkey) between 29 September – 4 October 2017.

The Congress will offer a good opportunity to illustrate and share the project’s activities and aims with the widest community of beekeepers and researchers involved in bee health at the international level.

The scientific contributions involving the BPRACTICES consortium that will be brought to Apimondia Congress are:

  • BPRACTICES Project: New indicators and on-farm practices to improve honeybee health in the Aethina tumida era in Europe (oral presentation, Giovanni Formato – project coordinator)
  • Preclinic indicators at the apiary level to prevent honeybee diseases (poster)

In addition, the BPRACTICES consortium has designed a project flyer to be distributed to the Congress participants. All the materials will be available for download in the BPRACTICES website – section Dissemination.
