BPRACTICES at the 8th EurBee Congress of Apidology

During the 8th EurBee Congress of Apidology (Ghent, Belgium | 18-20 September, 2018), BPRACTICES team had the opportunity to present and share the latest project results and activities with researchers from all over the world.

Particular attention was given to:

  • the monitoring of preclinic indicators as innovative good beekeeping practice in apiculture
  • the development of Hivelog web application for honey bee products traceability
  • the definition of good beekeeping practices.

The EurBee Congress is an international forum for discussion of the latest and most important results in bee research. The meeting gathers scientists studying different aspects of wild and managed bees, and how they respond to environmental changes to address problems with species conservation, pollination services, beekeeping management and colony losses.
